If you’ve been a winxer for quite a while, then you probably know that Bloom and Sky are engaged since the 2nd winx club film. However they are still not married yet! If you want to know why I think they are still not married, and will not marry each other anytime soon, keep on reading! So, now let’s start :
Bloom and Sky are one of the most iconic couples from winx club. Their relationship went through a lot of good and bad, happy and sad times. But in the end, they are a good couple for sure because they both love and support each other in times of need. Even though there are a lot of unecessary complications and toxicity between them sometimes, they still have a really good chemistry between them. I wouldn’t say they are my favourite couple, but I do like them.
Bloom and Sky have been engaged since the 2nd winx club film, Magical Adventure. Sky proposed to Bloom in that film and it seemed like they are going to get married soon, but that never happened. Instead, we saw Daphne and Thoren get married after just meeting each other (which was a little bit rushed, but I’ll talk about it another day). Whereas, Bloom and Sky have been engaged for such a long time but never got married!
The reason why Bloom and Sky are not married yet is the same reason for which Daphne was brought back to life and Sky doesn’t rule Eraklyon even though he is the king.
Originally, Bloom was said to be the next queen of Domino. But if Bloom ruled Domino after getting married to Sky, the throne of Eraklyon would remain empty. They brought back Daphne to become the next queen of Domino so that Bloom could marry Sky and become the queen of Eraklyon. However, sadly Bloom never became queen of Eraklyon. Because, if Bloom became the queen of either Domino or Eraklyon, then she would have look after her kingdom. Which would make her quit or minimize her involvement in the winx club. Meaning the winx club would be broken apart as Bloom is the leader of winx club. This would probably mean the end of the series because winx club is mainly about Bloom and her friends saving the world from bad people.
Again, Sky is already the king of Eraklyon, but he rarely stays there, so his father is still the ruler of Eraklyon. Because, if Sky takes care of the throne, then he wouldn’t be able to support the winx with his specialists team. So, even though he became the king of Eraklyon, rainbow had to later ignore the fact and leave the duty of the throne to his parents instead. Although, sometimes we see some moments of Sky in Eraklyon, mostly he spends time with the speacialists.
So, now some people will say that Daphne got married but she is still helping to save the world. Well, yes, but Daphne is yet become a queen. Bloom on the other hand, would immediately become a queen as Sky is a not a prince but a king. So, both Sky and Bloom would become king, and queen right after their wedding. As king and queen, they must look after their kingdom and people for which they will not be able to help save the world always.
So, this was my theory, keep in mind that this is based on my own opinions and thoughts. This may not be totally accurate and is not officially confirmed or anything.
